Being one of the newest tattoo techniques, including geometrical shapes, and abstract structures. the main root of blackwork tattoo art comes from the aborigines from different areas of the world like Oceania, Japan, Central America between others. Blackwork has been a deep resurrection of the old basic tattoo culture.

Inside old different branch of tattooing, I will be making a closer focus on the blackwork conception, from pure body art to tribal blackwork meaning, working with basic shapes like triangles (representation of God/men) or upside down triangles (woman). The integration of dots, lines, and shapes are always variations of perception depending on the cultural point of view.

Tattooing techniques have being evolving through the evolution of humanity. Nether the less, it has keep the same deep meaning. Being forgotten and twisted to new concepts. The sacred art of tattooing involves a deep relationship between client and tattooer, that need to be respected in order to have the best outcome during the process of skin carving.
